From my experience:

  1. The Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus feels much nicer to hold all day.
  2. Both phones don’t feel cheap despite being plastic.
  3. The weight difference is noticeable when using them for long time as 50 pro is a bit heavier.
  4. Pro Plus fits better in pockets because it’s thinner than the simple hot 50 pro phone.

2. Durability & Colors

2.1 Durability

  1. Both phones have IP54 rating
  2. This means they can handle:
    • Light rain
    • Dust
    • Small splashes
  3. Not waterproof so please don’t take the phone to swimming.

My Thoughts

Hot 50 Pro

Sleek Black, Titanium Grey, Glacier Blue

Glacier Blue looks really cool

Hot 50 Pro Plus

Sleek Black, Titanium Grey, Dreamy Purple

Purple is unique and pretty

From using both these phones, I can say that:

  • The Pro Plus feels nicer in hand (lighter weight helps)
  • Both survive daily use well (no scratches yet)
  • The purple color on Pro Plus gets more compliments
  • Black version hides fingerprints better

If I had to pick, I’d choose the Infinix hot 50 Pro Plus because its lighter weight and I love its special purple color. But the regular Pro’s blue is really nice too, so it depends on your choice.

Conclusion: Which One Should You Buy?

After experiencing both these phones, I would go for the Infinix Hot 50 Pro if I want to save money. It works just as fast as the Pro Plus, keeps the headphone jack (I use mine every day), and the screen looks great when I am outside. For normal use like social media, calls and videos, it’s perfect.

But if you can spend more money, the, the Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus is a better option. I have experienced that the selfie camera takes better photos, speakers sound clearer, and the lighter body feels better in pockets. I liked having 256GB storage for all my games and photos.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I’ve used both and the Pro Plus takes nicer selfies (13MP vs 8MP) and has better speakers. But the regular Pro keeps the headphone jack and costs less. If you take lots of selfies, go Pro Plus. If you use wired earphones, get the Pro.

Yes, the Pro’s screen gets brighter (1800 vs 1300 nits). When I used them outside, the Pro was easier to see in sunlight. Both look great indoors though.

I play COD Mobile on both these Infinix phones. They have the same processor so games run smooth on medium settings. No difference in gaming performance.

Both charge at 33W. I timed them and found that the Infinix hot 50 Pro Plus got to 50% in 26 minutes, white the Pro took 27 minutes. Basically the same in real use.

I’ve carried both daily for weeks. They survive rain and dust (IP54 rating). My Pro Plus has tougher Gorilla Glass, but my Pro’s screen is still fine.
